Our team boasts a broad range of corporate / commercial law, employment / labour law, conveyancing and property law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience. The team has an average of 16 years of individual legal practice experience, with a demographic representation of 50% female, 50% male, and led by a highly experienced black corporate and commercial law attorney, who is the co-founder of the firm, with 51% ownership interest.      

Nkhangweni Ndou holds B.Proc and LLB (Post-graduate) degrees from the University of the North (now Limpopo), obtained in 1993 and 1995, respectively. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand (2004); and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria (2008).

Jacques obtained his B Proc degree from the University of the North West (previously University of Potchefstroom).He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa during July 2002.He has in excess of 13 years’ experience as a practising attorney and has practised for his own account for approximately 7 years.

Erika obtained her BLC degree at the University of Pretoria in 1983 and her B.Proc at UNISA in 1991. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law and another in Alternative Dispute Resolution: Labour Arbitration, the former having been obtained from RAU (now University of Johannesburg) in 1992, and the latter from the University of Pretoria in 2000. She also holds a Development Programme Certificate in Labour Law from the UNISA School for Business Leadership, obtained in 1992. Erika is an accredited CCMA Commissioner, having earned this accreditation in 2004.

Yvette Smit obtained her B.Com (LLB) degree in 1989 at the University of Pretoria.  She was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary on 29 July 1999. Prior to that, she worked as deeds examiner for 7 years in the Deeds Office of Pretoria.
